Well I must say that Journey put on the best show ever. I have been a Journey fan for as long as I can remember, which isn't long I'm only 19, and this was my first Journey concert. I am ashamed to even say that I tried to get a refund when I found out that Steve Perry wasn't going to be with them. I would have missed out big time! The new Steve sounds alot like Perry, enough to make up for him not being there, infact I definately like Steve A. I attended the show in Tulsa, OK. It was a very small theatre and I had awesome seats. We stood up the whole time, singing along with every hit ( I still have a scratchy voice 3 days later). Pretty much everyone at the show was totally into it. If you just stood there and listened you could hear virtually the whole crowd singing along.
They said that they were coming back to Tulsa when they tour their new album - I am there. I must say to anyone who may be undecisive about going to the concert because Perry is not with them - don't think about it another moment! Buy the Tickets! Go! The Show ROCKS!!!! You will not be sorry.

The tulsa show was awesome!!! Had 2nd row center seats with my boyfriend. thought Steve Augeri did an excellent job as the new lead singer. can't wait for the new cd to come out. I was fortunate enough to get a drumstick handed to me personally from Deen and a Jonathan Cain guitar pick, Ross Valory guitar pick, could have had 2 more drumstick when Deen tried to give them to me at the end of the concert--but didn't want to be greedy. Wished I had them now. HA! Got a kiss thrown to me from Neal and he played a solo directly in front of me. Boyfriend was jealous....broke up recently. Very memorable night. Thanks to the guys! Best wishes to Deen and his bride. Neal I'll see you on the road again on the next tour. I'll "Always Remember You."
