All I can say is WOW! I never would've guessed in a million years that last night's concert would've been such a blast! My husband and I being die-hard fans of Journey's was devastated to learn after we purchased our tickets that Steve P. wasn't touring with the band. We thought about selling our tickets but then decided to give them a chance after reading other reviews from other shows. Before the show, you could sense the tension in the air from a lot of fans who had obviously just learned about the new lead man. Many comments were made all around us that no one could take the place of Steve Perry and the songs would never be the same again. Well, what a shock everyone was in for!!! From the time the band walked out on the stage, they started jammin' them old tunes out like it was yesterday and Steve Augeri was unbelievable! Honestly, if you turned your head, you would swear it was Steve Perry up there on that stage!! It was an uncanny resemblance as he belted out each old Journey tune, and what energy! His stage performance was excellent!!!! I was really glad to see the crowd gettin' into the show. People were dancin' and singin' and just lovin' the show. I'm so glad we didn't miss it. We truly enjoyed every minute of it and definitely would see them again. True DIE-HARD Journey fans won't be disappointed. Neil, Jonathan and Ross were really rockin' and Dean (new drummer) is truly dazzling to watch! Last night's show was in short the most unexpected ROCKIN' concert I've been to in years! Hat's off to the band and the new guys Dean and Steve for pullin' it off like no one thought they could!!!!!!
