Just announced, Journey will start their 1999 tour in Chicago, IL, on June 4th. So far no other cities or dates have been released.

Journey recently reached a huge milestone. The Greatest Hits album was recently certified 10x Platinum on February 8th. The latest RIAA certifications can be found by visiting Billboard On-line. Over the years I have also compiled a list of Journey's Awards including RIAA Certifications. Thanks to Bruno for the information.

Steve Smith sent me another update for Vital Information's upcoming North American (East Coast) tour in March / April 1999. Vital Information leaves tomorrow for the start of the European tour.

melodicrock.com reports that Journey has written eleven songs for the new album, which they plan to record in the early fall.
Journey will perform at this years RockFest '99 in Cadott, Wisconsin, July 18th. Also performing will be Foreigner, Kansas, Def Leppard, America, Survivor, Joan Jett, and Pat Benatar. Thanks to Paul for the information.
