On New Years Eve Journey played their last concert on their Vacation's Over Tour 1998. In Las Vegas a few days earlier Jonathan announced that they have signed a new contract with Columbia Records and will release their new studio album by the fall. Thanks to Mark DeFilippo.

Andrew's The AOR Hard Rock Hot Spot has moved to a new location at melodicrock.com. The new site has three unreleased sound clips (in mp3 format) from Steve's Greatest Hits CD: Against The Wall, Summer Of Luv, and When You're In Love (For The First Time).

Lynn Wood has started a new site for the fans of the Steve Perry Mailing List: Somewhere There's Hope.

Moni and Dan have started to organize a 'fan gathering,' Journeyfest '99, to celebrate the 1999 Journey World Tour on it's Opening Night in the USA. The Official Journey Web Site informs us that the members are in "Northern California writing new material." Also at the web site they have added a band biography. The band will also perform on February 13th at Universal Studio, Orlando Florida, during the Mardi Gras celebration.

Arrow 93.1 FM in Los Angeles will have the Steve Perry interview Off The Record on January 31st at 10 p.m. pacific. This is a syndicated Westwood One program and will probably be played on other stations too. Thanks to Carol and Bob.
