The Armageddon Soundtrack debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200® for the week of July 11th. The movie debuted in North American theaters on Tuesday and is expected to be this years biggest blockbuster. Thanks to Chris Perry.

I was corrected that 'Remember Me' is indeed included in the movie, but only only for about two seconds (five minutes into the film). It plays on the radio of a taxi cab. Thanks to J. Conaway.

The VH-1 Midnight Special with Journey will air again this Friday, July 10th, at 12:30 a.m. CST. Thanks to Kathy Williams.

July 9, 1998


Journey will perform at the Kentucky State Fair on August 21. Tickets are $20 and will go on sale this Saturday. Thanks to Bryan Blair and Craig.

The Armageddon Soundtrack jumped to #1 on the Billboard 200® for the week of July 18th. Of course, all the credit went to Aerosmith for the success of the album.

Billboard On-line listed that Neal Schon and Jan Hammer will release a CD collection comprised of both "Here To Stay" and "Untold Passion." The new CD, "No More Lies: The Best of" is due for release on July 28th (by Razor & Tie Entertainment). Thanks to Kathy Williams.

There will be two repeat Journey radio interviews this week. The first, 'Off The Record' will air on Arrow 93.1 FM, Los Angeles, on Sunday July 19th at 10:00 p.m. The second, 'In the Studio' (two part series) will air on Dallas Q102 (KTXQ) on July 19th and the second part on the 26th at 9 a.m. (CT). July 18, 1998


Big 106 FM in Miami, Florida, will feature 90 minutes of Journey on Sunday night at 10 p.m. The "Sunday Night Big Ticket" is a special concert from the past. No information yet which concert they will air. Thanks to Cheri Mitchell-Santiago.
