Finally a bit of news on Steve Perry. On Survivor's Official Web Site (located under 'Q & A'), guitarist Frankie Sullivan, answers a question if they have any 'communication or contact with Steve Perry or the rest of Journey members.' Frankie answers:

"I really like Steve. Last I saw him we were wroking at the same studio. He busted in my session like a bat out of hell! We moved studio's and I have not ran into him since.

I did get to hear a couple of cuts from his next record, he's really a great singer!

Thanks to SeanB for sending me the information and link.

Great news. Last week an announcement was made that Santana was one of this years inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held on January 12th, 1998, and will air on VH-1 (I believe a week later).

On Tuesday Neal appeared on Late Nite with Conan O'Brian. Here is a WAV (700KB) and Real Audio of his introduction on the show. He played guitar on the side with Max Weinberg and appeared on camera many times throughout the whole night. Below is a screen captured I took of him. You can find more captures of him here.
