In their October 9th issue, People Weekly magazine finally acknowledges a Journey reunion. 'Journey fans, please take note: Steve Perry, Jonathan Cain, Neal Schon, Ross Valory and Steve Smith have re-formed the 1970s and '80s rock group and are making plans for a new album.'

On October 2, Music News Of The World also released a short column of Journey's reunion 'Journey: The Road Goes On Forever.'

On October 15, The San Francisco Chronicle released more news regarding the reunion. In the article 'Journey Into the Present', they mention that Journey is rehearsing at Jon's studio and includes Steve Perry, Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Steve Smith and Ross Valory.
